Due to expansion our client is looking for a Senior Personal Injury claims handler to join their team. The ideal candidate will be utilising your technical ability coupled with your communication skills to ensure excellent customer service while handling Claims from Cradle to Grave up to a value of 100,000.Tasks will include responding to Personal Injury Claims in accordance with the defined business procedures, negotiate and settle Claims and associated losses within defined authority levels ensuring the interests of the company are protected at all times and respond to customers in a flexible manner. On a daily basis you will be required to manage your own portfolio of cases, collecting all relevant information to support a timely decision on liability and quantum. You will use the appropriate medium to negotiate Claims whilst ensuring the claims handling process is consistently applied. It is essential that applicants have previously held a similar position within an Insurance company, brokers or solicitors. We would like to see applications from claims handlers who have Personal Injury experience. You will also be a strong negotiator, have the ability to analyse information with good IT skills.
